Michael J. Calapa, age 59 of Raynham, passed away at his residence on November 8, 2018 with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Terryann (Wright) Calapa.
Michael was born in Boston, a son of the late Charles and Josephine (Badessa) Calapa.
Mr. Calapa was a talented chef. He was an avid Boston sports fan; the Bruins especially, he enjoyed taking trips with his family and travelling to new and exciting places. Most of all he was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family and always had a smile on his face.
Besides his loving wife Terryann of over 32 years, he is survived by his loving children; Matthew Calapa and his wife Courtney of North Attleboro and Michael Calapa of Taunton. He was also the brother of Joseph Calapa and wife Nenita of Braintree, Charles Calapa and wife Katherine of Hanover, Patricia Lavertue and husband Robert of Billerica and Marlena Beazley and husband William of Dorchester as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2 to 5pm.
(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 12th at 10 am in Saint Jude the Apostle Church 249 Whittenton Street Taunton. (Relatives and friends may meet directly at church.)
Interment will be held privately.
