Adrian "Andy" A. Gomes

Adrian A. Gomes “Andy” 75, of Raynham, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Janet P. (Bresciani) Gomes. They were married for the past 56 years.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Manuel and Hilda (Gomes) Gomes.

Andy was the owner and operator of A. Gomes Trucking for most of his career.

He enjoyed trucks and Nascar.

Besides his wife, Janet, he leaves his three sons, Brian J. Gomes, and his wife Joan (Courcy) Gomes, of Taunton, Jeffrey M. Gomes, and his wife, Jennifer Johndrow-Gomes, of Halifax, and David P. Gomes, of Foxboro; his siblings, David Gomes, Marie Gomes-Raftery, Patricia Caramanica, and Michael Gomes; five grandchildren, Jacob B. Gomes, Victoria M. Gomes, Jason M. Johndrow, Mia E. Gomes, and Joseph R. Gomes; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Betty Gallagher.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a funeral service beginning at 6:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square)

Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery will be held at a later date.
