TAUNTON - Agnes "Ines" Barboza, a lifelong resident of the area, died peacefully at her Taunton home on April 23, 2014.
She was 90 years old.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Antonio B. Pina and the late Eugenia (Barboza) Duarte.
She was also the sister of the late Antonio, Julio and Joseph Pina, and the late Mary Hyatt Nunes, Lillian Rodrigues, Adeline Miranda and Mabel Nereu.
She resided for many years with her sister Lillian, brother-in-law, Daniel Rodrigues and niece, Dona.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Daniel Rodrigues and sister-in-law, Lidia Pina and several nieces and nephews.
Recently, Agnes resides at SRS Home in Taunton and thrived under a caring staff.
She attended classes daily for many years at BAMSI/Lakeville Rehab in Lakeville.
Agnes loved children, her dolls, jewelry, pretty clothes and her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, May 10th at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will follow at Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
