Albano R. Torres, age 71 of East Taunton, passed away on August 27, 2017 at Life Care Center of Raynham.
He was the beloved husband of the late Sarah (Freire) Torres.
Mr. Torres was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, a son of the late Jose and Estrella (Maroto) Torres.
Before retirement, Mr. Torres was a forklift operator with Rand McNally. He enjoyed farming, gardening, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
He was the father of Paul Torres of Norton and Steven Torres and his wife Stacey of Taunton, grandfather of Trevor and Troy.
Mr. Torres was also the brother of Joseph Torres of Taunton, Duarte and Fernando Torres, Eliana Melo and Gorete Raposo all of Canada.
Albano's funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 8:00 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Family Church Middleboro Ave, East Taunton.
Interment will follow in Cedar Knoll Cemetery.
