TAUNTON - Albert R. Ferreira, Jr., a lifelong Taunton resident, died unexpectedly at his Taunton home on March 14, 2011.
He was 58.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Mary Lou (Almeida) Ferreira and the late Albert R. Ferreira, Sr.
Raised and educated in Taunton, he was a graduate of Taunton High School and later graduated from Bridgewater State College, where he also received a Master's Degree in History.
For several years, Albert was a developmental specialist at the Wrentham State School.
He was an avid reader who enjoyed historical research and trivia.
Besides his mother of Taunton, he leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private graveside services were held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Arrangements are by the Silva Funeral Home, Taunton.
