Albert W. Tucan, age 63 of Taunton, passed away on June 25, 2021 at Morton Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maureen (Guay) Tucan, and the companion of Judi Perry.
Albert was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the son of the late Mihail and Sarah (Mota) Tucan.
Mr. Tucan was the owner and operator of Checker Cab Company for over 30 years. He was a past president of the PACC, loved camping in Cape Cod and riding his bicycle. Most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family especially going to NASCAR races with his sons.
Besides his loving companion Judy, he is survived by his beloved sons: Alex Tucan of Taunton and Zack Tucan of Berkley. He was also the grandfather of Alexa Tucan and the brother of Marisa Normandin.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 9 am in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Friday, July 2nd from 4 to 7pm.
