Alexandria "Alex" Anderson

d. June 28, 2018

Alexandria Marie Anderson, age 30, originally from Taunton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday June 28, 2018.

She was born in Stoughton, MA on July 11th 1987.

Alexandria (Alex) is survived by her only beloved daughter Autumn Marie, her mother Lisa Karantonakis and stepfather Antonios Karantonakis, her deceased father Carl F. Anderson, Sister Vasiliki (Vicky), brothers Zachary and Anthony. Grandmother Beverly Perry (Nana), Grandfather Joseph Analoro and his wife Maria and paternal grandparents Ronald W. and Barbara L.  Anderson, along with many aunts and uncles, cousins on her mother and father’s sides. Recently Alex had connected with many family members and friends from her past and was hopeful to spend time with them. Alex said her greatest gift in life was the birth of her daughter Autumn who she loved very much.

Alex struggled with mental illness and addiction for many years and helped several people along the way, but struggled to help herself many times. Alex graduated from Coyle and Cassidy High School in 2005 and went on to Mass College of Pharmacy. Although she did not finish her degree, she often said that she would go back someday to complete it. Alex was an avid fan of the Harry Potter book series and would read them over and over again. She enjoyed singing and acting, going to the beach and reminiscing about old times. Alex met many people along her road to recovery and spoke highly about all of them. We are grateful to the people she encountered to help her in her journey. Alex had a good heart and will be remembered by many for her caring ways.
