TAUNTON - Alfredo F. Cordeiro, husband of the late Maria Carmo (Morgado) Cordeiro, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on Aug. 31, 2012.
He was 92.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Ferreira) Cordeiro.
He moved to the Taunton area in 1979.
A custodial assistant employed by Marian Manor, Mr. Cordeiro retired several years ago.
He enjoyed gardening in his spare time.
Survivors include two sons, Eduardo M. Cordeiro and his wife Maria, and Carlos A. Cordeiro and his wife Isabel, all of Taunton; a sister, Albertina Cordeiro of Canada; four grandchildren; Kimberly, Elizabeth, Jason and Melanie Cordeiro; one great grandchild, Giovanni Forti; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Sept 4th at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m.
