Alice Bousquin (Santos), 99 years old, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 at RegalCare at Taunton. Alice was born to Laura Q. and Christiano Santos on December 20, 1925 in Taunton, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. “Red” Bousquin, married on June 7, 1952, whom she met while working at General Electric in Taunton.
Alice is survived by her son, Michael A. Bousquin of Fairhaven; two daughters, Sharon A. Figueiredo and her husband Allen of Taunton, and Lori J. Norberg and her husband Kenneth of Taunton. She was the proud grandmother to Tracy Brown (and her husband Aaron) of Berkley, Nathan Boiros (and his wife Stacie) of Westport, Justin Pelletier of Middleboro and Joshua Pelletier of Fall River. She leaves behind her beloved great grandchildren-Ryleigh, Jillian, Chase and Bennett, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alice was the sister of the late Albertina Emond.
Alice, along with her husband, owned and operated Steve’s Bakery and Coffee Shop on Winthrop Street in Taunton for many years. She also worked at Colonial Donut Shoppe where she enjoyed socializing and meeting new people while sharing her bright smile and kindness. Alice belonged to the St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton, where she enjoyed being a part of the Women’s Guild as well as the Martha and Mary Ministry, in her younger years. Alice enjoyed working in her yard, reading and cooking. She especially loved caring for and spending time with her family. Alice’s smile, love and joyful spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alice’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 9:00am from the Silva Funeral Home ( at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Avenue in Taunton.
Interment will be held privately.
