TAUNTON- Alice J. (Correia) daSilva, age 94, peacefully entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of Sunday, March 31, 2024, at The Arbors at Taunton. She was the dear wife of the late Edward J. daSilva, who passed away in 1980.
Born in Central Falls, RI, Alice was one of three children born to the late John and Amelia (Lazaro) Correia. She grew up in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School with the Class of 1948.
Alice worked for many years as a Bookkeeper with H&D Distributors, Inc. and prior to that, she worked at Zahn Dental Co..
In her younger days, Alice enjoyed bowling, traveling with her husband and friends, and knitting. Alice was an officer and member of the Ladies Auxillary of the PACC.
Alice is survived by her cherished and loving son: Michael E. daSilva and his wife Kim; her two granddaughters: Sara Babson and her husband Ian and Jillian Skolis and her husband Kody; and her precious great-grandchildren: Liam Joseph Babson and Harlee Rose Babson.
Alice is predeceased by her siblings: John Correia, Jr. and Dorothy Basti.

Alice’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday , April 10 at 10 am, with a Funeral Service to commence at 11 am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, East Britannia Street, Taunton.
