TAUNTON - Alice (White) Medeiros, formerly of School St., died at Marian Manor on Jan. 25, 2010.
The wife of the late Joseph J. Medeiros, she was 91 years old.
Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Perry) White.
Educated in Dighton and Taunton schools, Mrs. Medeiros was later employed as a nurse's aide by Lakeville Hospital, where she worked for many years, retiring many years ago.
A longtime communicant of the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mrs. Medeiros later attended St. Mary's Church for a number of years.
She enjoyed dancing, being with friends, and spending time at the beach, especially Plymouth area beaches.
Survivors include three sons, William E., Joseph J. and James P. Medeiros, all of Taunton; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Manuel, John and Joseph White, Josephine Marshall, Rosaline Andrade and Virginia Cunha.
The family will receive visitors at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, Jan. 28th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary's Church at 11 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
