Ana M. Garcia

Ana (Moyano) Garcia, age 91 of Taunton, passed away on December 28, 2025 at Morton Hospital under Compassionate Care Hospice.

She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Garcia for 59 years.

Born in Belmez, Spain, she was the daughter of the late Domingo and Dolores (Leal) Moyano.

Before retiring, Mrs. Garcia was employed with LeachGarner for many years.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting hats and scarfs, gardening, dancing and watching Madrid Soccer. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children; Maria F. Ventura, Manuel Garcia, Jr and Dolores Meack and her husband Mike all of Taunton. She was the loving grandmother of John, Michael, Nathan, Brandon and Nicholas, great-grandmother of Kyra, Owen, Julianna, Kiley, Hayden and Jaylin. She also leaves her cousin Isaura Amaral and her beloved granddog Bubba.

Mrs. Garcia’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:30 am with a funeral home service to begin at 10:00am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
