Ana (Montijo) Rodriguez, age 84 of Pawtucket, RI, passed away on February 27, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Care Center in Providence, RI.
She was the beloved wife of the late Pedro Rodriguez.
Ana was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Juan and Ramona (Vega) Montijo.
Mrs. Rodriguez was a homemaker her entire life. She was a loving and caring person who enjoyed cooking, sewing and trips to the casino.
Ana is survived by her loving children; Peter Rodriguez of Taunton, Glenden, James, Fernando, Anna and Valarie Rodriguez, and Judy Aponte, Abigail Rodriguez-Rivera, Lillian Rodriguez, Jenny Arango and Norma Martinez all of Pawtucket, RI. Ana was also the loving mother of the late Joseph Rodriguez. She was the grandmother of thirty (30), and great-grandmother of sixty-two (62). She was the sister of Baselisa Montijo, Maria Montijo and Milagros Torres and the sister of the late Felo, Pedro, Raymond, and Olga Montijo.
Ana’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 11 am in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, MA. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 4 pm to 7pm.
