Ana M. (Dias) Vieira, age 70 of Taunton, passed away on January 3, 2023 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jose M. Vieira.
Ana was born in Sao Miguel, Azores the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Cabral ) Dias
Before retiring, Mrs. Vieira was employed with Budget Drapery for many years. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and watching the New England Patriots, most of all she cherished times spent with her loving grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
Ana is survived by her loving children; George and Peter Vieira, both of Taunton; a daughter, Tina (Vieira) Bloom and her husband Matthew of Taunton; five grandchildren, Ashley Evans, Noah and Lucas Bloom, and Victoria Vieira, and Sammy as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Fernando Dias and wife Michele and Julie Dias and husband Antonio both of Taunton. She was also the sister of the late Carlos Dias.
Ana’s funeral will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:45am from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square), Taunton with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm in St. Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8th from 2 to 5pm. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
