Angela “Angie” Neas, age 84 of Attleboro, passed away on June 5, 2026 at HopeHealth in Providence.
She was the wife of the late Walter T. Neas.
Born in Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Paolino and Anna (Cerza) Brogna.
Angie was an excellent cook, she made the best sauce that she learned from her mother. Always made more food than we could eat at dinner so the kids would have something to take home. She loved having company over, summer barbecues by the pool with family and friends were frequent events.
Angie also kept a good sized garden for fresh vegetables, and for many years she and Walter had fun playing in a candlepin bowling league. And all her grandkids were a great joy to her, weekend sleepovers and playing aggravation at the kitchen table. All would agree she was always the life of party.
She is survived by her loving children; Michael T. Neas of Virginia Beach, David J. Neas and fiance Jean Liu of Brockton, Cynthia M. Simmons and husband Brian of Taunton, brother; Peter Brogna and wife Betty, Emma Fleming and husband Daniel Welchlin, grandchildren; Mark Neas and wife Tiana, Cassandra Neas, Jacob Hanson and fiance Maranda Haley, Robert Neas Jr., Madison Neas, Hannah Neas, 8 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Donna Brogna and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robert F. Neas and the sister of the late Paul Brogna and Anthony Brogna.
Angie’s funeral will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Ann Church, Raynham.
Interment will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
