BERKLEY - Angelina (Thomas) Rose, wife of the late Antone Rose, died on Sept. 17th at the Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center in Fall River at the age of 87.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Raulino) Thomas.
She attended Taunton schools.
A longtime resident of Berkley, she was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton.
A Nurses Aid for the Paul A. Dever School for many years, she later worked as a Home Health Aide for the Taunton Visiting Nurses Association, retiring at the age of 70.
She enjoyed spending time with her large family. Her hobbies included cooking, flower gardening and card games.
She leaves 4 sons, Anthony Rose and his wife Elaine of Berkley, William Rose and his wife Shirley of Assonet, Raymond Rose and his wife Janice of Berkley and Daniel Rose and his wife Donna of Assonet; 3 daughters, Olive Bennett and her husband John of Phoenix, AZ, Brenda Stratton of Berkley, and A. Linda Wysong and her husband Frank of Pittsfield, NH; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Manuel, Olive and Mary Thomas.
Thank you God for giving us a loving and caring mother. Our love endures forever. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Saturday, Sept. 20th at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Westville Cemetery in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10 a.m, prior to the service.
