Anita M. Botellio

Anita M. (Signoriello) Botellio, age 98 of Taunton, passed away at her home on December 23, 2025 with her loving children by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Botellio, Sr, who passed in 1989.

Born in Mansfield, Anita was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Caroline (Phillips) Signoriello. She graduated from Mansfield High School.

Anita was employed by Balfour Jewelers of Attleboro as a bookkeeper. When her husband, Ernest, opened Ernie’s Auto Service, she became a bookkeeper and manager for his business. Anita was active in several organizations during her lifetime which included the Raynham Haunted House, the Taunton Women’s Club, the Friends of Boyden Wildlife Refuge Fall Festival Committee, the Whittenton Community Forum and the Friends of Boyden Wildlife Refuge. She enjoyed painting, quilting, sewing, crafts, cooking, animals, nature, gardening, and New Hampshire. She had a dog named Penny who was her loving companion for 15 years.

Anita is survived by her loving children, Ernest Botellio, Jr and Debra Botellio both of Taunton. She was the sister of the late William Signoriello, Guy Signorielli, John Signoriello, and Anthony Signoriello

Anita’s funeral will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 28 th from 2 to 5 pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
