Anna Guenthner

Anna M. (Beggy) Guenthner, Age 75 of Taunton, passed away on May 30, 2025 at her home.

She was the wife of Fred Guenthner.

Born in South Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Gebraitis) Beggy.

Born on February 24, 1950, Anna lived a full and adventurous life. She was known for her green thumb and could often be found tending to her garden or taking long walks around the city. Anna had a passion for the outdoors, spending countless hours at the beach soaking up the sun and enjoying the sound of the waves. She also had a love for art and music, always seeking out new exhibits and concerts to attend.

During her career, Anna worked as a homemaker, ensuring that her home was always a welcoming and comfortable place to be. Anna will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her kind heart, and her unwavering love for life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Besides her beloved husband Fred of 46 years, she is survived by her children; Jason Torres, Ava Torres, Farah Guenthner, Julia Fletcher and husband Bill, sister; Diane Beggy, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Beggy.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, JUNE 11, 2025 from 4pm-6pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

Interment will be held privately.
