TAUNTON - Anthony F. Duarte, a lifelong Taunton resident, died unexpectedly at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on Sept. 18, 2010.
He was 52.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Violet B. (Barros) Duarte of Taunton and the late Charles S. Duarte.
A 1975 graduate of Taunton High School, he was employed as a maintenance man for the Taunton Housing Authority for over twenty years.
He retired seven years ago due to disability.
Anthony enjoyed billiards, and was a member of the McGrath's Pool League.
Besides his mother, he leaves two sisters, Susan Knute and her husband Lonnie of Taunton, and Kathleen Duarte of Taunton; and a nephew, Kenneth Knute of Taunton.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, Sept. 24th at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m.
