Antone Silvia, Jr.

Antone Silvia Jr., age 85 of Taunton, passed away on February 19, 2018 at Morton Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Hebert) Silvia.

Antone was born in Taunton, a son of the late Antone and Mary ( Silvia) Silvia Sr.

Before retirement, Mr. Silvia was employed with Royce Aluminum Corporation for many years and Chadwicks of Boston for 17 years with the support unit. He loved spending time with his family, especially his loving grandchildren that he loved with all his heart.

Besides his beloved wife of 34 years, he is survived by his two daughters; Lynn Silvia, Megan (Silvia) Goncalves and her husband Shawn and his grandchildren; Cameron Goncalves and Brooklyn Goncalves, a brother; George Baptista and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Silvia, Susie Sousa, Edith Flint, Mary Flint, Dorothy Pacheco, Madeline Silvia, Rose Brophy, Sarah Silvia and Marilyn Smith.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday February 25, 2018 from 1 to 4 pm with a funeral home service at 4 pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton. (parking with full handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home).

Burial will be held privately.
