Antonio DaSilva, age 64 of Middleboro, passed away on July 13, 2024 at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth.
He was the beloved husband of Cidalia (Rego) DaSilva.
Antonio was born in Sao Miguel, Azores the son of the late Francisco DaSilva-Correia and Maria (Pacheco) Correia.
He enjoyed boating, going on cruises. He was a loving and caring man who was devoted to his family and adored his granddaughter and his daughter in law.
Besides his beloved wife Cidalia of over 42 years, Antonio is survived by his loving son Jonathan DaSilva and his wife Elizabeth of Middleboro. Grandfather of Prudence DaSilva. He was the brother of Maria Correia, Natalia Rodrigues and Donatilde Travassos all of Taunton. Antonio was also the father of the late Gregory DaSilva grandfather of the late Sierra Marie DaSilva, and brother of the late Edmundo Correia and the late Jose DaSilva.
Antonio’s funeral will be held on Thursday, July18, 2024 at 7:45am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
