Antonio A. Ferreira

Antonio A. Ferreira, husband of Clotilde M. (Ferreira) Ferreira, died at Morton Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.
He was 72.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, he moved to the U.S. in 1986, and resided in Fall River for a while, before moving to the Taunton area.
An electrician and fisherman in Portugal, he worked in area factories after moving to in the U.S.
He was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church.
Besides his wife of Berkley, he leaves 2 sons, Aires F. Ferreira of Somerset and Antonio M. Ferreira of Windermere, FL; 6 daughters, including Maria Bartholomew of Berkley and Sabrina Costa of Kissimmee, FL; a brother and 3 sisters, all in Portugal; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Tuesday, Jan. 13th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of the Lord Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Monday, Jan. 12th from 5 to 8 p.m.
