Antonio L. Goulart, age 81, of Taunton, passed away on October 8, 2018 at Morton Hospital.
Antonio was the beloved Husband of the late Janet (Souza) Goulart who passed in 2017.
Mr. Goulart was born in Faial Azores he was a son of the late Fernando and Rosa (Costa) Goulart.
Before retiring, Mr. Goulart was employed with Fernandes Super Markets as a produce manager for many years. He was also a self- employed mechanic.
Antonio was a member of the PACC, Taunton YMCA, he loved fishing, wood working , spending time in his garden and had a great love for his late dog Sam.
Antonio is survived by his children, Antonio M. Goulart of Pawtucket, RI, Rosanne M. Carvalho and husband George of Taunton, Sandra M. Goulart of Bridgewater , Grandfather of Zachary Carvalho. He was also the brother of Alberto Goulart of Taunton and Fernanda Barbosa of CA and brother of the late Fernando and Joseph Goulart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 10 am in Annunciation of the Lord Church 31 First Street, Taunton.(Relatives and friends may meet directly at the church.)
Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Antonio’s memory made to a charity of one's choice, would be deeply appreciated.
