Antonio Moreira, age 83 of Taunton, passed away on September 12, 2025 at Morton Hospital.
Born in Santa Maria, Azores, the son of the late Manuel and Ana (Sousa) Moreira.
Mr. Moreira was employed as a laborer for many companies. He enjoyed gardening, wine making with his own grapes that he grew, fishing and going on walks. He also cherished time spent with his family.
Antonio is survived by two sisters, Fatima Machado of Taunton and Maria Reis of Canada as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Antonio’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 9:30 am from The Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Anthony Church, School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
