Anunciacao J. (Oliveira) Correia, age 82 of Taunton, passed away on November 9, 2020 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Elpidio Correia.
Anunciacao was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Maurico) Oliveira.
Before retiring, Mrs. Correia was employed with Texas Instruments for over 33 years. She was a loving and caring person who cherished time spent with her family. She enjoyed music, singing, gardening, cooking and crocheting.
Besides her beloved husband Elpidio of over 62 years, she is survived by her loving children; Ricardo Correia and his wife Rosemarie, Richard Correia and his wife Annemarie, Steven Correia all of Taunton and Cynthia Grandmont and her husband James of ME, grandmother of Joseph, Holly, Andrew and John; great grandmother of Kassandra. She was the sister of Esprito Branco of South Attleboro, Angelina Pacheco of Pawtucket, loving mother of the late Maria Correia and sister of the late Joseph, Manuel and Antonio Oliveira as well as three other pre deceased sisters.
Mrs. Correia’s funeral will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 8:30 am from The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Ann Church North Main Street, Raynham.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Friday, November 13th from 4 to 7pm.
(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.)
