TAUNTON - Arnold G. Morse, husband of the late Natalie (Rebello) Morse, died at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on Aug. 27, 2012.
He was 87.
Born, raised and educated In Walpole, he was the son of the late George and Lottie (Keough) Morse.
A decorated war veteran, Mr. Morse received the Bronze Star Medal while serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He moved to the Taunton area in 1973 and was employed by General Motors in Framingham for over 30 years.
In his spare time, Mr. Morse enjoyed fishing, bocce and shooting pool.
Survivors include a son, Arnold M. Morse of Taunton; a daughter, Judith A. Almer of Taunton; five grandchildren, Danny, Jason, A.J., Noah and Malinda; nine great grandchildren, Kayla, Callie Marie, Paige, Savannah, Miranda, Charlotte, McKenna, Dylan and Zachary; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the grandfather of the late David Strese.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, Aug. 31st at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday Aug. 30th from 5 to 8 p.m.
