Audrey Lucille (Santos) Fontes, age 91 of Taunton, passed away on May 12, 2020 at Morton Hospital.
Audrey was born in Barnstable, MA, the daughter of the late Robert and Clementina (Gomes) Santos.
Before retiring in 2005, Mrs. Fontes was employed as a secretary with the Norton School Dept. for over 36 years. She enjoyed dancing, music, especially Cape Verdean music, and loved gardening. She was a hard working person who was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her loving children; Jeffrey Fontes of Taunton, Brenda Fontes of Fall River and Carol Fontes of Acushnet. She was also the grandmother of Jeffrey and Jessica Fontes, Shena and Colby Delgado, great-grandmother of 6 and great-great-grandmother of 1. Mrs. Fontes was also the sister of the late Arnold and Carl Santos.
A private funeral service was held at the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
Her burial was held in Saint Anthony Cemetery, Falmouth MA
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date in Saint Anthony Church, Falmouth MA
