Avelino Belo, age 83 of Taunton, passed away on November 24, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side.
Avelino was born in Portugal, a son of the late Jose and Maria (Sol) Belo.
Before retirement, Mr. Belo was employed with the former Dyecraftsmen Yarn Co. He was a member of the Taunton Eagles and also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Avelino always had a smile and enjoyed everyone he would meet.
Mr. Belo is survived by his brothers and sisters, Elmano Belo, Luis Melim, Alcinio Melim, Serafina Belo, Evangelina Borges, Laurentina Duarte, Maria Davidson Melim and Gabriela Melim as well as many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Mr. Belo’s graveside service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 12:30pm in the Saint Catherine section of Saint Joseph Cemetery in Taunton (All relatives and friends are asked to meet directly in Saint Catherine section at 12:15pm.).
