Barbara Joyce (Silvia) Dube

Barbara Joyce (Silvia) Dube, age 87 of Swansea, passed away on August 28, 2021 in the comfort of her home with her loving family at her side.

She was the beloved wife of Raymond W. Dube, Jr.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Alexandrina “Lily” (Rego) Silvia.

Before retiring, Mrs. Dube was employed as a secretary with Atty Lincoln D. Brayron. She enjoyed the beach, watching birds, and just the simple things in life. Most of all she cherished time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.

Besides her beloved husband Raymond who she would have celebrated 65 years of marriage with this coming October, she is survived by her loving children; Raymond W. Dube, III of Swansea, Joyce Dube of Fall River, and Leslie Lemire and husband Timothy also of Swansea, grandmother of Larissa, Myranda, Catelyne, Raymond, Amber, Nickolas and Alexandria. She was also the sister of the late Geraldine S. Rauner.

A private grave-side service was held at the Vinnicum Woods Cemetery in Swansea. Arrangements were with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
