Barbara Ruth (Brown) Mackinnon, age 61 of Taunton, passed away on August 19, 2022 at Saint Luke Hospital. Barbara was born in Taunton, the beloved daughter of Barbara (Vieira) Brown and the late Richard Brown. Before retiring, Mrs. Mackinnon was employed at Bella Haven in Taunton as a healthcare provider, caring for many people that adored her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, snuggling with her favorite Elliot (Boo), scratching tickets and going to the casino. She was truly one of a kind. Barbara is survived by her loving children; Adam Mackinnon and Tami Mackinnon both of Taunton, and the late Keith Mackinnon and John Cuff. She was the grandmother to Justin, Desiree, Alex, Keith Jr, Ava, Mason and Braedon. A sister to Rick, Frank, Michael, Mark, Charles, Alice, Ruth, Joanne and the late Robert, Vickie and Nancy. She was also an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
A grave-side service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10 am in Cedar Knoll Cemetery 175 Staples Street, East Taunton. Relatives and friends may meet directly at the cemetery.
