Barbara (Corey) O’Connell, age 90 of Taunton, passed away on August 2, 2022 at Marian Manor with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of Walter O’Connell.
Barbara was born in North Dighton, the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Lorian) Corey.
Before retiring, Barbara was employed with T.J. Holmspray.
Besides her husband Walter of over 68 years, she is survived by her loving children; Daniel O’Connell and wife Laura of Taunton, Lori Pinheiro and husband Paul of East Taunton, David O’Connell and wife Joyce of Amesbury, MA and Peter O’Connell and his partner Megan of RI, she was the grandmother of Jason, Elise, Hannah, Kelsey, Kori, Molly, Nicole, Abigail, and Liam, great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Harper, Hadley,and Maple. Barbara was also the sister of the late Irene Correia, Alfred, Robert, Raymond and Mary Corey, Genevive Farley, Madeline Silva.
Barbara’s funeral with visitation will be held on, August 5, 2022 at 9 am with a service to begin at 10 am in The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will be held privately in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
