Beatrice Walton (Silva) age 77, of Berkley, passed away on May 18, 2018 at Morton Hospital. She was the loving wife of Clifford “Sonny” Walton, Jr. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Rocha.

Prior to retirement, she was the owner and operator of the Bubblette Laundromat in Taunton for over twenty five years. She belonged to the Weekend Warrior Camping Club that travelled to many New England Campgrounds. Beatrice  enjoyed spending her summers with her family at Race Point in Provincetown She enjoyed bowling, and most of all she was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.

Besides her husband Sonny of over 52 years, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Boyd, of Freetown; a grandson, Michael Boyd; and a sister, Lillian Crowninshield. She was the mother of the late David F. Walton and sister of the late Anthony Silva.

Mrs. Walton’s funeral will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 7:30 am, from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am, in the Annunciation of the Lord Church, First Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Fox Cemetery, Berkley.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, in the Silva Funeral Home, from 4 to 7 pm.

(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home)

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to a charity of one’s choice in Beatrice’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
