Beatriz (Furtado) Pacheco, age 68 of East Taunton, passed away on January 1, 2018 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Antonio Pacheco.
Beatriz was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal a daughter of the late Jose Miguel and Diamantina (dosSantos) Furtado.
Before becoming disabled, Mrs. Pacheco worked with Chadwicks of Boston and along with her husband owned Honey Dew Donut in West Warwick RI. Beatriz loved to travel to her home in Florida, take cruises and was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Most spoke of her as an angel.
Besides her beloved husband Antonio of over 48 years, she is survived by her loving children; Michael Pacheco, sr. and his fiancee Susana of Taunton, Adriana Oliveira and her husband Joao of East Taunton and Michelle Roy and husband Gerard (TPD) of Taunton. She was the sister of Jose Furtado of Taunton and loving grandmother of Christopher, Eric, Michaela, Nicholas, Michael, Jr., and Alexander. Great-grandmother of Trae Peters.
Mrs. Pacheco’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2017 at 9:30 am from The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
