TAUNTON - Berta M. (daRosa) Lang of Taunton, wife of the late Robert B. Lang, died at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Sept. 27, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
She was 59.
Born in Terceira, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose B. and Rosa E. (daSilva) daRosa.
She moved with her family to Taunton at the age of twelve.
Mrs. Lang worked as a presser in several Taunton area dry cleaners for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
Berta will be remembered as a caregiver and for her willingness to help anyone in need of a helping hand.
Survivors include her daughter, Jessica M. Lang of Fall River; her sister, Elisa M. Higgins of Taunton; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Roland daRosa.
The family will receive visitors at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd from 4 to at 6 p.m. followed by Memorial Services at 6 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
