Bertha “Evelyn” (Rounds) Ferreira of Hardwick, formally of Taunton, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was 93
She was the beloved wife of the late John T. Ferreira, Sr.
Born in East Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Henry Sr., and Georgianna (Lemieux) Rounds.
Evelyn spent most of her life taking care of children and was everyone’s “Nana”. She loved her family, playing Gin Rummy, listening to her records and was an avid reader.
Evelyn is survived by her grandchildren; Andrea Pope and her husband Thomas, Kristin Vincent, Brett Ferreira, great-grandchildren; Samuel Pope, Maxwell Pope, Elijah Vincent, her daughter-in-law Marie Ferreira, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rena A. Clark, John T. Ferreira Jr, and sister of the late Henry Rounds, Jr., Rita Davenport, Lucy Clarke.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
