Betty A. (Finch) Soares, age 74 of South Easton passed away on March 28, 2020 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Soares, III.
Betty was born in West Bridgewater, the daughter of the late Alvin and Mildred (Kugis) Finch.
Before retiring, Mrs. Soares was employed by the US Postal Service as a clerk in Attleboro for many years. She enjoyed visiting Lancaster, PA., playing Bingo, watching her grandchildren, visiting the Casino and drinking black coffee while visiting with friends and family.
Betty is the loving mother of Manuel Soares IV and wife Joana of Dighton,
Kurt Soares and wife Kara of So. Easton and Diane Soares and husband Herb Aponte of So. Easton, grandmother of Samantha, DJ, Alex, Andrew, Iris-Jade, Luiz, Presley, Manuel VI, Sadie and Sonny, great-grandmother of Mya. She was also the grandmother of the late Manuel Soares,V.
Betty’s funeral services are being held privately with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
