Bonnie J. (Petty) Chase, 72, of Plymouth, passed away on Friday, January 24th, 2025, surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of Robert Chase, with whom she shared 33 kindred years. Bonnie was born in Philadelphia, PA to Lewis and Euterpe (Halekas) Petty.
For 36 dedicated years, she worked as an accountant for Venture Tape in Rockland where she prided herself on her work-ethic and love of prime numbers.
Bonnie was passionate about music, animal welfare, the mountains, cooking, dancing, her Greek heritage and, above all else, her family. In the months before her passing, Bonnie found great joy in guiding granddaughter Cassidy through her journey as a new mother with baby Jolene. She was also incredibly proud this past Autumn of granddaughter Alexis’s enrollment in Brown University for medical physics.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Megan Allaire and husband Edward of Fairhaven, Nathan Tupper of Plymouth, Andrew Chase of Cambridge, Adam Chase and wife Melissa of Woodbridge, MN, Scott Chase and wife Andrea of Amesbury, and Nicole Crocker and husband Paul of Rockland. Bonnie also leaves fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as a niece and nephew. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Barbara.
The cremation will be private, but the family is planning a Celebration of Life, with details to be shared once they are arranged.
Donations in her memory to either the American Lung Association or the ASPCA would be greatly appreciated.
