Bruce A. Malaguti

TAUNTON - Bruce A. Malaguti, a Taunton resident for the past fifteen years, died at the New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital on Dec. 8, 2011.
He was 58.
Born in Newport, RI, he was the son of Vincent and Hilda L. (Westgate) Malaguti of Dighton.
Raised and educated in the Dighton and Rehoboth areas, Bruce was a 1972 graduate of Dighton - Rehoboth Regional High School.
He later served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War.
A carpenter by trade, he was employed by Quality Siding & Home Improvement for the past ten years, until retiring a year ago due to illness.
Bruce enjoyed fishing and gambling.
A sports fan, he enjoyed playing and coaching, and coached little league in Rehoboth for several years.
Besides his parents, he leaves his former wife, Lori A. (McGee) Malaguti of Cranston, RI; three sons, Brian P. and David A. Malaguti, both of Rehoboth, and Erik V. Malaguti of Swansea; a daughter, Amy L. Malaguti of Taunton; a brother, Ronald V. Malaguti of Dighton; four sisters, Sharon H. Araujo of Dighton, Pamela J. Jefferson of N. Dighton, Debra A. Dennen of Sandwich, and Linda S. McCarron of Taunton; two grandchildren, Briana Malaguti and Erik V. Malaguti, Jr. and several niece and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Roy V. and Donald J. Malaguti.
Bruce's family will receive visitors at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, Dec. 15th from 5 until 7:30 p.m. with Services beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 16th at the West Dighton Christian Church Cemetery at 10 a.m.
