Carl G. Souza, age 58 of Dighton, passed away on September 10, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center.

Carl was born in Fall River, the beloved son of Alice (Perry) Souza and the late George Souza.

Mr. Souza was employed with McLaughlin Research Corporation, Middletown RI as a CAD Engineer for many years. He was a 25 year member of the Upland Riders Motorcycle Club in Plympton MA.  Carl was also a member of the Dighton Lions Club. Carl enjoyed fishing, boating, lobstering, clamming, and conserving the beach.  Carl loved to cook and made friends with all he met.  Carl had faith in prayer, cared for his family, and a big heart that would help anyone without question.

Besides his beloved mother Alice, Carl is survived by his loving companion Ramona Sherman, his Loving brothers and sisters;  Karen Gazza,  Cheryl Wick, Kevin Souza, and Eric Souza. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.

Carl was also the brother of the late Brian Souza.

Carl’s funeral will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Nicholas Church Spring Street, North Dighton. Interment will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 15th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
