Carlos was born in Guinea Bissau in West Africa the son of Maria Luisa (De Veiga) Madeira of Portugal and the late Manuel Da Silva Jassy.
Mr. Jassy's work accomplishments include working as a computer programmer for the Federal Reserve. He held two Bachelor's Degrees, Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College and Computer Science from Northeastern University. Mr. Jassy enjoyed cars, reading, spending time learning and attending school, and playing with his grandchildren.
Besides his loving mother Maria, he is survived by his children, Michael Silva of Taunton, Eric Jassy of Brockton and Annabella Jassy of Los Angeles CA. He was also the brother of Eduardo Jassy, Luis Jassy, Milu Jassy, Orlando Madeira, Marcos Madeira, Alex Madeira and grandfather of Adrian, Caleb, and Isaiah Silva.
Mr. Jassy's funeral will be held privately with the Silva Funeral Home. His burial will also be held privately in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
