Carole (Giuggio) Carlson, age 75 of Raynham, passed away on July 11, 2026 at Accent Care Hospice Center in Milton.

Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Grace (Dwyer) Giuggio. Carole graduated from St. Clare’s High School in Roslindale and went on to graduate from Westfield State University serving as class President. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education. Before her retirement, Carole dedicated over 30 years to Verizon where she served with distinction as an Account Manager.

Carole will be remembered for the joy and laughter she brought into the lives of everyone around her. She was loved dearly and her spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Carole had a deep passion for reading. You would rarely find her without her current book in hand, and if she could be anywhere in the world, it would be at the beach, enjoying the sun with her favorite book and a cup of coffee. She loved the ocean and when traveling with friends she was likely to be happiest with the ocean nearby.

She loved spending time with her family and her love of adventure never waned. She spent many winters skiing and snowmobiling and then water skiing in the summer. She especially cherished her time spent as Nana to her grandchildren. Time spent with them brought her immeasurable happiness. Whether floating together down the lazy river at the water park or conquering the scariest rides at the theme parks, she made these times even more memorable.

In addition to her cherished time with family and friends and her love of reading, Carole enjoyed attending plays and live performances of all kinds, with Les Misérables being her all-time favorite, having seen it many times. She was a true Boston sports fan, and hardly ever missed watching her beloved Patriots. She was also an avid shopper, with a keen eye for fashion. She loved to shop for anything from clothes to household items and particularly enjoyed exploring outdoor markets and thrift stores. Family members eagerly looked forward to those special days when she would surprise them with gifts, as she was infamous for finding clothing everyone loved.

She is survived by her children; Kristen Alberino, Jackie Carlson McCarthy and husband Rick, Carl Carlson, grandchildren; Chelsea Alberino, Courtney McCarthy, Cassidy McCarthy, Mallory Carlson, and CJ Carlson, sisters; Joan Donovan and husband John, Grace Glennon and husband Robert, nephew; Michael Glennon and wife Janet, nieces; Karen Modtland and husband Thor, Lori Moring and husband Adam. Carole was the Aunt of the late Patrice Donovan, Rob Glennon and his wife Linda and the mother-in-law of the late Robert Alberino. She also leaves her beloved dog, Sunny.
