Carole (Giuggio) Carlson, age 75 of Raynham, passed away on July 11, 2026 at Accent Care Hospice Center in Milton.

Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Grace (Dwyer) Giuggio. Carole graduated from St. Clare’s High School in Roslindale and went on to graduate from Westfield State University serving as class President. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education. Before her retirement, Carole dedicated over 30 years to Verizon where she served with distinction as an Account Manager.

Carole’s favorite pastime was reading. Her taste in books varied from the classics to biographies and fiction. She enjoyed all outdoor sports. In the winter, it was downhill skiing and watching the Patriots. In the summer, it was water skiing and swimming. She enjoyed being on Verizon’s softball team. She loved to crochet and made many afghans, gifting most of them. She also traveled extensively and made many happy memories with friends and family.

Carole cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren who she loved unconditionally.

She is survived by her children; Kristen Alberino, Jackie Carlson McCarthy and husband Rick, Carl Carlson, grandchildren; Chelsea Alberino, Courtney McCarthy, Cassidy McCarthy, Mallory Carlson, and CJ Carlson, sisters; Joan Donovan and husband John, Grace Glennon and husband Robert, nephew; Michael Glennon and wife Janet, nieces; Karen Modtland and husband Thor, Lori Moring and husband Adam. Carole was the Aunt of the late Patrice Donovan, Rob Glennon and his wife Linda and her late son-in-law Rob Alberino. She also leaves her beloved dog, Sunny.

Visiting hours will be held on July 27, 2026 from 3 to 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
