Carolyn L. (Smith) Rounds, wife of Henry N. Rounds, died on Wednesday, Sept. 17th at the New England Medical Center. She was 66.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Vernon A. and Charlotte (Smith) Smith.
Educated in Taunton schools, she graduated from Taunton High School in 1959.
A communicant of Holy Family Church, she worked for many years as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for the former Lakeville Hospital and later Taunton State Hospital.
She enjoyed cruises.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Richard N. Rounds and his wife Lisa of Pembroke; 2 daughters; Lynn A. Keyes and Lori J. Rounds, both of E. Taunton; a brother, Robert Smith and his wife Cynthia of New Boston, NH; a grandson, Spencer Rounds of Pembroke; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Monday, Sept. 22nd at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be Sunday, from 5 to 8 p.m.
