TAUNTON - Catherine L. (Wambolt) King, wife of the late George King, died at Taunton Nursing Home on June 13, 2012.
She was 97.
Born in Middleboro, she was the daughter of the late John and Lottie Wambolt.
Mrs. King was employed as an inspector for several area factories, including the former Pearl Works, Kilburn Glass, Holmes and Augets's.
A member of Taunton's VFW Post 611, Women's Auxiliary, she enjoyed knitting and traveling, and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
Survivors include her sons, Paul F. King of Taunton, and Michael D. King and his wife Peggy of Bourne; several grandchildren, a great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late George King, III and Shirley King.
Funeral Services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery.
