Charles Heger, III age 73 of Raynham, passed away on July 31, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Born in Brockton, Charles was the beloved son of the late Charles and Grace (Osborne) Heger, Jr.
Before retiring, Mr. Heger was employed with Stop & Shop as a truck driver for over 30 years.
He proudly served his country with the Army in Vietnam from 1971-1973.
Charles enjoyed working around his house, helping others fixing lawn mowers, snow blowers, snow blowing neighbors driveways. He took great pride in being charitable to others. Most of all he was a loving and caring man that enjoyed the holidays with family and friends.
He was the brother of Eleanor Caramanica, Joan Scally, Dorothy Clapp, Karen Curran, Barbara Bislarides, Susan Duncan, Elizabeth Clapp, James Heger, Donna Ayers and Deborah Heger. Charles was also the brother of the late Alton Heger, Robert Heger, George Heger, Richard Heger, Paul Heger, David Heger and the late Rita Jones.
Mr. Heger’s funeral with visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 10am with a service to begin at 11am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow with military honors in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
