Cheryl A. Devine, age 61, of Abington, passed away on the evening of Friday, November 8, 2024, at the home of her daughter in Taunton, surrounded by love, comfort, and care of her family. She was the devoted and loving wife for 40 years to Paul Devine.
Born in Arlington, MA, she was one of two children and the only daughter born to the late William Johnson and Betty Battista. Cheryl grew up in California before settling in Massachusetts with her husband and children.
For most of her life, Cheryl worked as a medical assistant and full time mother .
In her spare time Cheryl enjoyed listening to music of all kinds, especially the 90’s era and discussing politics. She also liked health and beauty.
In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by her proud and cherished children: Stacey Dauwer and her husband Paul, Derek Devine, Brittany Devine and her wife Kelly Flaherty, and Noah Devine and his wife Erika O’Callaghan; her cherished grandchildren: Taylor, Ava, Skylar, Aiden, Abrina, and the soon to be born Aleyna; Her cherished great grandchildren: Anya and Elias along with her brother Russell Johnson and his wife Chris; and her niece Ashley Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in passing by her late grandson: Abel Devine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday , November 23, 2024, at 10 am in St. Michael Parish, 87 North Main Street, Avon, MA 02322
