TAUNTON - Christopher J. Paiva, husband of Jennifer Shing of Taunton, died at his home on Sept. 24, 2013. He was 47.
Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Kathleen (Manning) Paiva of East Taunton, and the late Russell A. Paiva.
Christopher was raised and educated in Taunton, and was a graduate of Taunton High School.
Employed in the construction industry for many years, Christopher enjoyed playing softball, and was an avid Boston sports fan.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a brother, Gregory J. Paiva of New Bedford;
a nephew, Russell D. Paiva; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services Friday Oct.4th at 7 p.m. at the Meeting House Church, 239 Broadway (Rt. 138), Taunton.
