Cisaltina (Macedo) Raposo, age 84 of Taunton, passed away on March 12, 2025 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Duarte M. Raposo.
Born in Sao Miguel,Azores, Cisaltina was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria E. (Pacheco) Macedo.
Before retiring, Mrs. Raposo was employed with the former Robertson Curtain Factory as a Stitcher for many years.
She enjoyed Traveling, and most of all time spent with her family.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Anna Moniz and Lillian Moniz and husband Joao both of Taunton, grandmother of Natalie Moniz and Lisa Hunter and husband Jimmie, great-grandmother of Julian Williams and Carson Hunter.
Mrs. Raposo was also the sister of the late Arnold and Manuel Macedo.
Cisaltina’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 8:30am am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 17th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
