Corey Michael Cabral, age 35 of Taunton, passed away on December 22, 2024 at his residence.
Corey was born in Taunton, the beloved son of Duarte “Ed” and Karen (Araujo) Cabral.
Corey was employed as an assistant manager with Whittenton Hardware for many years. Corey took great pride in helping people. His caring nature and personality made all the customers thankful. At Whittenton Hardware, Corey had a special bond with the store mascot the parrot Flipper. Corey was the only one who could carry Flipper, it was a bond that could never be broken.
Besides his beloved parents, Ed and Karen, Cory is survived by his loving brothers; Keith, Scott, Craig and Joshua.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2 to 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
His burial will be private.
