Corrine "Dena" F. Lima, 78, of Taunton, passed away on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018.
She was the widow of Richard Joseph Lima. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late John R. Hayden and Leona I. (Bentley) Hayden.
Dena worked for the former Lucy Shoe Company in Bridgewater before spending 12 years as a custodian at the Bridgewater State College until her retirement in 1989. An avid lover of the beach and lighthouses, Dena also enjoyed going to Foxwoods, camping and motorcycle riding with her husband back in the days when they belonged to a local MC.
Dena is survived by her loving daughters, Donna J. Bacon of Taunton, Brenda A. Smith and her husband Timothy Smith of West Wareham and Barbara M. Pina and her late husband Joseph Pina of Taunton; her twin sister, Claudette "Detta" Pacheco of Bridgewater; siblings, Rebecca Denton of Bridgewater and Robert Hayden of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, April Medas, Dwayne Pina, Maegan Pina, Kimberly Walters and Nicole George; great grandchildren, Jordan, Savannah, Jaizan, Maverick, Isabella, Elexxis, Kylie, Layla and Ava; and several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Darlene F. Harrison, and sister of the late Clifton Hayden and Shirley Medas.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday at 10:00am at the Silva Funeral Home, where her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm.
