Cory Frates, age 35 of Taunton, the best friend a person could ever ask for, passed away on Sunday August 12 2018 in his home. It is believed that it was caused by his heart giving out.
Born in Wareham, he was the son of Joseph Frates of Wareham and Darlene (Silva) Frates of Taunton.
Cory was world-renowned for his lack of patience, not holding back his opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. He always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. Everyone always knew where you stood with him. Cory liked you or he didn’t, it was black or white. He always put his friends first in his life, something everyone he left behind could use more of. He had some serious health problems and no matter how bad they were they never dampened his spirits. Cory was always in a good mood no matter how bad he felt. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, he leaves a brother Hunter Simon, sister Kyla Frates, and his aunts, uncles and many cousins on both sides of the family, who loved and cared about Cory,
Cory's services and burial will be held privately.
